I. The beginning
How are you?

Make up as many words as you can with the letters.

ІI. The main part
a) match the pictures with the words and word-combinations.
b) make up as many sentences as the number on the dice is.
c) take one word from each circle and make up sentences.
c) match the fish with the right aquarium.
d) Make up your own sentences with the following expressions

a) Now we are going to learn some information about one girl. Look at her photo. Guess who this girl is.
What is her name? How old is she? Where is she from? Describe her appearance. What is her hobby?
b) And now we`ll check you answers. Listen to the tape very attentively.
c) Answer the questions which are on the board
– What is her name?
-What does she collect?
-How many dolls has she got?
-What is her favourite doll?
-Who gives her the doll?
-Does she give dolls to her brother?
-Do her friends collect dolls?
- Relaxing minute.
Let’s have a short rest. „Sounds” . Listen to the sounds guessing what sport are they from.
- Reading Comprehension. Groupwork Activity.
a) So, we know some information about Miriam, her interests and hobbies. And what about other children? We’ll work in groups 1/2/3.
Read 2 texts. Match these texts with the illustrations. Prove your answers. You have 5 minutes. The reporter has to summarize all the information and tells about hobbies of the children.

We have just spoken about different children, their hobbies and interests.
So, different people have different tastes.
Now we’ll roleplay the situation.
Imagine one of you meets a foreign student from the USA or Britain.
Ask him about his hobbies, interests and free time.
Use as many words and word-combinations to make up the dialogue. You have 2 minutes.
- Relaxing song.
Look at the illustration on the board. They are in the correct order. They will help you to sing the song. Show the movements to each verse.
III. The ending
- Hometask setting.
Write the letter to your friend. Tell him about your interests, hobbies, free time.
